High School Volleyball - Starkville Academy overwhelmed by Non Varsity Opponent
August 20, 2024: , Non Varsity Opponent (, ) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Starkville Academy Volunteers (Starkville, MS), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Non Varsity Opponent advances its record to 7-23 on the season. The host Marine City (Marine City, MI) to face the Mariners in a non-league test on Wednesday, August 21. The Mariners go into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Volunteers now sport a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Simpson Academy for a MAIS battle on Tuesday, August 20. Starkville Academy will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Florence (Florence, MS). The Cougars record now stands at 2-1.
