August 20, 2025: Paris, KY 40361 The Scott County Cardinals soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Bourbon County Colonels to 0 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Cardinals now hold a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodford County for a non-league contest on Saturday, August 23. Scott County will face a Yellowjackets team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Lexington Christian (Lexington, KY). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-0.
The Colonels (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Mason County (Maysville, KY). The Royals enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record.
