August 20, 2025: Erdenheim, PA 19038 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Springfield Township Spartans (Erdenheim, PA) soccer team routed the visiting Archbishop Carroll Patriots (Radnor, PA), by a tally of 5-0.
Next, the Spartans face the Wissahickon Trojans (Ambler, PA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, August 27. Springfield Township will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record.
The Patriots (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Marple Newtown (Newtown Square, PA). The Fightin' Tigers go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Marple Newtown was overwhelmed by Wissahickon (Ambler, PA), 1-0, in a non-league challenge.
