Michigan High School Soccer - Thurston knocks off Renaissance
August 20, 2025: Detroit, MI 48235 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting Thurston Eagles soccer squad scored a tight 6-3 victory over the Renaissance Phoenix.
With the triumph, Thurston advances its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Roseville (Roseville, MI) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league test on Friday, August 22. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 0-1. Roseville lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Port Huron (Port Huron, MI)
The Phoenix now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Western International for a non-league outing on Friday, August 22. Renaissance will play a Cowboys squad coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Lamphere (Madison Heights, MI). The Cowboys record now stands at 1-0.
