August 20, 2025: Livonia, MI 48150 Riverview Pirates (Riverview, MI) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Franklin Patriots (Livonia, MI), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Riverview improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Pirates travel to Pioneer (Ann Arbor, MI) to face the Pioneers in a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. The Pioneers go into the test with a record of 1-1. Pioneer lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Milford (Highland, MI)
The Patriots now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seaholm for a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. Franklin will face a Maples squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Fraser (Fraser, MI). The Maples record now stands at 1-2.
