In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Russia Raiders volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Covington Buccs.

The Raiders (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against New Bremen (New Bremen, OH). The Cardinals come into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Buccs clash with the Brookville Blue Devils (Brookville, OH) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, August 24. Covington will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Blue Devils come into the battle with a 3-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Franklin Monroe (Pitsburg, OH).
