North Carolina High School Volleyball - Cape Fear Academy can't hold off New Hanover
August 21, 2023: Wilmington, NC 28401 In Monday's non-league battle, the host New Hanover Wildcats volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes.
The Wildcats (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against New Bern (New Bern, NC). The Bears come into the non-league battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, New Bern was edged by Pamlico County (Bayboro, NC), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Hurricanes clash with the Wayne Country Day Chargers (Goldsboro, NC) in a battle, on Thursday, August 24. Cape Fear Academy will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Chargers come into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Liberty Christian Academy (Richlands, NC).
