August 21, 2023: Siler City, NC 27344 The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Uwharrie Charter Eagles (Asheboro, NC) and the host Chatham Charter Knights (Siler City, NC), saw Uwharrie Charter's volleyball squad beat Chatham Charter by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Uwharrie Charter upgrades its record to 3-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to Ledford (Thomasville, NC) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, August 23. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Ledford lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against West Davidson (Lexington, NC)
The Knights now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Woods Charter for a Central Tar Heel 1A contest on Tuesday, August 29.
