The McDonald Blue Devils topped the visiting Mathews Mustangs volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Monday's non-league test.

The Blue Devils now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jackson-Milton for a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet test on Tuesday, August 22. McDonald will confront a Bluejays team coming off a 3-2 league win over Lowellville (Lowellville, OH). The Bluejays record now stands at 1-0.

The Mustangs (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Brookfield (Brookfield, OH). The Warriors enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Brookfield was knocked off by Ursuline (Youngstown, OH), 3-0, in a non-league test.
