Indiana High School Soccer - Owen Valley toppled by Monrovia
August 21, 2024: Spencer, IN 47460 Monrovia Bulldogs (Monrovia, IN) boosters exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Owen Valley Patriots (Spencer, IN), 9-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Monrovia moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Southmont (Crawfordsville, IN) to clash with the Mounties in a non-league test on Saturday, August 24. The Mounties come into the test with a record of 1-1. Southmont won 3-0 in their recent league test against Western Boone (Thorntown, IN)
The Patriots now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Greencastle for a Indiana Crossroads test on Saturday, August 24. Owen Valley will clash with a Tiger Cubs team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Danville (Danville, IN). The Tiger Cubs record now stands at 1-1.
