August 21, 2024: Winchester, IN 47394 The Winchester Community Golden Falcons volleyball squad (Winchester, IN), was edged 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Richmond Red Devils (Richmond, IN)
With the win, Richmond improves its record to 2-3 on the season. The Red Devils travel to Kokomo (Kokomo, IN) to encounter the Wildkats in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 24. The Wildkats go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Kokomo lost 3-1 in their recent non-league battle against North Miami (Denver, IN)
The Golden Falcons now own a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Adams for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 22. Winchester Community will encounter a Starfires squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Blackford (Hartford City, IN). The Starfires record now stands at 4-0.
Match Summary
GREAT MATCH.....The Lady Falcons were defeated in a hard nose, hard fought five set match this evening against the Lady Red Devils of Richmond. The atmosphere was great; the crowd was great; and more importantly, the game was GREAT. The scores were as follows: 25-20, 14-25, 28-26, 22-25, 17-19.
In the JV Match, the Lady Falcons were also defeated by the Lady Red Devils in 3. Scores are as follows: 25-22, 24-26, 13-15.
The Lady Falcons will be in action Thursday evening, August 22, 2024 at South Adams High School in Berne, Indiana. The JV Match begins at 6:00 pm
