California High School Football - Sanger West loses to Mission Oak
August 21, 2025: Tulare, CA 93274 Mission Oak Hawks (Tulare, CA) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Sanger West Hornets (Fresno, CA), 28-7 in a non-league match.
The Hawks (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against San Luis Obispo (San Luis Obispo, CA). The Tigers go into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, San Luis Obispo prevailed over Mt. Whitney (Visalia, CA), 31-0, in a non-league battle.
The Hornets now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Coalinga for a non-league match on Friday, August 29. Sanger West will confront a Horned Toads squad coming off a 13-7 non-league win over Caruthers (Caruthers, CA). The Horned Toads record now stands at 1-0.
