California High School Football - Otay Ranch tops Rancho Buena Vista
August 21, 2025: Chula Vista, CA 91913 The Otay Ranch Mustangs football squad scored 36 points and limited the visiting Rancho Buena Vista Longhorns to 26 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Mustangs now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Point Loma for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 28. Otay Ranch will face a Pointers team coming off a 13-6 non-league loss to Del Norte (San Diego, CA). The Pointers record now stands at 0-1.
The Longhorns (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA). The Dons go into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Cathedral Catholic toppled Santana (Santee, CA), 38-6, in a non-league test.
