With the win, Valley improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Vikings travel to Eastern (Louisville, KY) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league battle on Monday, October 6. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 1-0.
The Chargers now own a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fairdale for a non-league contest on Tuesday, August 26.
