Bishop Gorman Gaels (Las Vegas, NV) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they observed their football squad thwart the host Centennial Bulldogs (Las Vegas, NV), 51-21 in a league match.

The Gaels (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Coronado (Henderson, NV). The Cougars come into the non-league match with a 0-0 record.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs confront the Foothill Falcons (Henderson, NV) in a match, on Thursday, August 28. Centennial will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Falcons go into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 34-6 non-league win over Mojave (North Las Vegas, NV).
