Georgia High School Football - South Cobb can't hold off Osborne
August 21, 2025: Marietta, GA 30060 Osborne Cardinals (Marietta, GA) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team nip the visiting South Cobb Eagles (Austell, GA), 14-8 in a non-league match.
The Cardinals (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Wheeler (Marietta, GA). The Wildcats come into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Wheeler tipped Pebblebrook (Mableton, GA), 24-12, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Eagles confront the Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs (Kennesaw, GA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, August 28. South Cobb will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Mustangs go into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 41-6 non-league loss to Kell (Marietta, GA).
