California High School Football - St. Francis holds off St. Bonaventure
August 21, 2025: La Canada, CA 91011 The St. Francis Golden Knights football squad scored 25 points and limited the visiting St. Bonaventure Seraphs to 19 in the Golden Knights non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Golden Knights now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy for a test on Thursday, October 2.
The Seraphs (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Birmingham (Lake Balboa, CA). The Patriots enter the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Birmingham was edged by Hart (Newhall, CA), 43-8, in a non-league game.
