August 21, 2025: Carlisle, OH 45005 Carlisle Indians (Carlisle, OH) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Xenia Buccaneers (Xenia, OH), 4-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Carlisle moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Indians host Oakwood (Dayton, OH) to clash with the Lumberjacks in a Southwestern Buckeye - Buckeye test on Saturday, August 23. The Lumberjacks come into the test with a record of 0-1. Oakwood lost 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Bellbrook (Bellbrook, OH)
Next up, the Buccaneers confront the Legacy Christian Academy Knights (Xenia, OH) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, August 23. Xenia will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Knights go into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Troy Christian (Troy, OH).
