Indiana High School Soccer - Mt. Vernon knocks off Hamilton Heights
August 21, 2025: Fortville, IN 46040 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Mt. Vernon Marauders (Fortville, IN) and the visiting Hamilton Heights Huskies (Arcadia, IN), saw Mt. Vernon's soccer squad triumph over Hamilton Heights by a count of 7-0.
The Marauders (2-1) will now prepare for their match against New Castle (New Castle, IN). The Trojans come into the Hoosier Heritage match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, New Castle nipped Connersville (Connersville, IN), 2-0, in a non-league match.
The Huskies now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Alexandria-Monroe for a non-league match on Saturday, August 23. Hamilton Heights will meet a Tigers team coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Union City (Union City, IN). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.
