August 21, 2025: Maysville, KY 41056 Scott Eagles (Covington, KY) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Mason County Royals (Maysville, KY), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Scott moves its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Calvary Christian (Covington, KY) to confront the Cougars in a District 37 outing on Saturday, August 23. The Cougars enter the outing with a record of 2-1. Calvary Christian lost 6-2 in their recent league outing against Bishop Brossart (Alexandria, KY)
Next up, the Royals confront the Boyd County Lions (Ashland, KY) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, August 26. Mason County will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 2-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Spring Valley (Huntington, WV).
