Oklahoma High School Softball - Coalgate edges Atoka
August 21, 2025: Coalgate, OK 74538 The Coalgate Wildcats softball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting Atoka Wampus Cats to 0 in the Wildcats non-league win on Thursday.
The Wildcats now possess a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Colbert for a 2A battle on Monday, August 25. Coalgate will confront a Leopards team coming off a 12-2 league loss to Calera (Calera, OK). The Leopards record now stands at 1-7.
With the loss, Atoka moves to 1-1 on the season. The Wampus cats host Ada (Ada, OK) to confront the Cougars in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 25. The Cougars come into the battle with a record of 3-5.
