Oklahoma High School Softball - Wetumka drops to Depew
August 21, 2025: Wetumka, OK 74883 Depew Hornets (Depew, OK) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Wetumka Chieftains (Wetumka, OK), 10-1 in a league game.
With the triumph, Depew improves its record to 4-2 on the year. The Hornets travel to Olive (Drumright, OK) to play the Wildcats in a non-league match on Tuesday, August 26. The Wildcats come into the match with a record of 2-6.
In their next game, the Chieftains battle the Savanna Bulldogs (Savanna, OK) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 22. Wetumka will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 2-5 record after their 13-4 non-league loss to Pittsburg (Pittsburg, OK).
