August 21, 2025: Stone Mountain, GA 30083 The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Mt. Zion Bulldogs (Jonesboro, GA) and the host Stone Mountain Pirates (Stone Mountain, GA), observed Mt. Zion's softball team get by Stone Mountain by a tally of 1-0.
The Bulldogs (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Morrow (Morrow, GA). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Morrow was edged by Newnan (Newnan, GA), 16-0, in a league contest.
The Pirates now hold a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Redan for a non-league contest on Monday, August 25. Stone Mountain will battle a Raiders team coming off a 15-12 league win over Drew Charter (Atlanta, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 4-0.
