The Eagles now possess a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Troy for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 21. Abilene will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Robinson (Robinson, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 5-6.
The Bulldogs (3-6) will now prepare for their match against La Vega (Waco, TX). The Pirates enter the non-league match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, La Vega notched a victory over Marlin (Marlin, TX), 3-0, in a non-league match.
