Thorndale Bulldogs (Thorndale, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Alvin Yellowjackets (Alvin, TX), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Thorndale improves its record to 3-7 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Aubrey (Aubrey, TX) to face the Chaparrals in a non-league test on Friday, August 22. The Chaparrals go into the test with a record of 12-1. Aubrey won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX)
