Kentucky High School Volleyball - Mayfield tips Caldwell County
August 21, 2025: Mayfield, KY 42066 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Mayfield Cardinals (Mayfield, KY) and the visiting Caldwell County Tigers (Princeton, KY), observed Mayfield's volleyball team hold off Caldwell County by a count of 3-2.
The Cardinals (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Hickman County (Clinton, KY). The Falcons go into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Hickman County was tipped by Calloway County (Murray, KY), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Tigers meet the Garrard County Golden Lions (Lancaster, KY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 23. Caldwell County will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Golden Lions go into the battle with a 2-2 record after their 3-1 league loss to Danville Christian Academy (Danville, KY).
