In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting China Spring Cougars volleyball team scored a 2-0 win over the Van Alstyne Panthers.

With the win, China Spring advances its record to 7-6 on the season. The Cougars travel to Nocona (Nocona, TX) to face the Indians in a non-league test on Friday, August 22. The Indians go into the test with a record of 7-2. Nocona won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Alvord (Alvord, TX)

The Panthers now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Forney for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. Van Alstyne will face a Jackrabbits squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Aledo (Aledo, TX). The Jackrabbits record now stands at 6-7.
