The Blue Devils now possess a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Greene County for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 26. Elbert County will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Putnam County (Eatonton, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 0-4.
With the loss, George Walton Academy drops to 5-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Bethlehem Christian Academy (Bethlehem, GA) to battle the Knights in a GIAA 4AAA match on Monday, August 25.
