The Sunrise Mountain Miners (Las Vegas, NV) volleyball held off the host Eldorado Firehawks (Las Vegas, NV), 3-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Miners now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Horizon for a non-league bout on Friday, August 22. Sunrise Mountain will clash with a Hawks team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Eustis (Eustis, FL). The Hawks record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Eldorado drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Firehawks travel to Poway (Poway, CA) to clash with the Titans in a non-league bout on Friday, August 22. The Titans enter the match with a record of 1-4. Poway won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against El Toro (Lake Forest, CA)
