August 21, 2025: Morehead, KY 40351 In Thursday's non-league match, the Rowan County Vikings (Morehead, KY) volleyball team knocked off the visiting Estill County Engineers (Irvine, KY), by a margin of 3-0.
The Vikings now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Lawrence County for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 23. Rowan County will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Tolsia (Fort Gay, WV). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Estill County drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Engineers travel to Madison Southern (Berea, KY) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, August 25.
