The Valhalla Norsemen (El Cajon, CA) volleyball held off the host Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA), 3-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Norsemen now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Patrick Henry for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 26. Valhalla will battle a Patriots team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Maranatha Christian (San Diego, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 2-4.

Next, the Foothillers battle the Foothills Christian Knights (El Cajon, CA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, August 26. Grossmont will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Knights enter the contest with a 2-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over High Tech SD (San Diego, CA).
