Otay Ranch Mustangs (Chula Vista, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Otay Ranch upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Coronado (Coronado, CA) to face the Islanders in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. The Islanders go into the test with a record of 8-1. Coronado won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Santana (Santee, CA)

The Highlanders now sport a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mission Bay for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 26. Helix will play a Buccaneers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Bonanza (Las Vegas, NV). The Buccaneers record now stands at 3-2.
