The London Pirates volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Iowa Colony Pioneers to 1 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Pirates now have a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Seguin for a non-league outing on Friday, August 22. London will play a Matadors team coming off a 3-0 league win over Sam Houston (San Antonio, TX). The Matadors record now stands at 6-5.

With the loss, Iowa Colony drops to 6-8 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Johnson City (Johnson City, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league outing on Friday, August 22.
