August 21, 2025: Johnson City, TX 78636 Johnson City Eagles (Johnson City, TX) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Round Rock Christian Academy Crusaders (Round Rock, TX), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Johnson City advances its record to 9-5 on the season. The Eagles host Burnet (Burnet, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 9-2. Burnet won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against C.H. Yoe (Cameron, TX)
The Crusaders now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hyde Park for a non-league test on Monday, August 25. Round Rock Christian Academy will face a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Madisonville (Madisonville, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 2-5.
