Texas High School Volleyball - Stony Point can't get by Lake Ridge
August 21, 2025: Round Rock, TX 78664 Lake Ridge Eagles (Mansfield, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Stony Point Tigers (Round Rock, TX), 2-1 in a non-league test.
The Eagles (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Tomball Memorial (Tomball, TX). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Tomball Memorial edged Fort Bend Austin (Sugar Land, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers meet the St. Stephen's Episcopal Spartans (Austin, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 21. Stony Point will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to East View (Georgetown, TX).
