Lamar Raiders (Meridian, MS) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Union Yellowjackets (Union, MS), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Raiders (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Opelika (Opelika, AL). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Yellowjackets meet the Northeast Lauderdale Trojans (Meridian, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 23. Union will attempt to upgrade on its 11-5 season record.
