August 21, 2025: Austin, TX 78752 Pioneer Diamondbacks (Mission, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Northeast Early College Raiders (Austin, TX), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Pioneer improves its record to 11-1 on the season. The Diamondbacks travel to Edinburg (Edinburg, TX) to encounter the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, August 22. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a record of 7-4. Edinburg won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Rio Grande City (Rio Grande City, TX)
Next, the Raiders meet the Bandera BULLDOGS (Bandera, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 22. Northeast Early College will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The BULLDOGS enter the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Comfort (Comfort, TX).
