In Thursday's non-league test, the host Seguin Matadors volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Rudder Rangers.

With the win, Seguin improves its record to 8-6 on the season. The Matadors host Industrial (Vanderbilt, TX) to face the Cobras in a non-league test on Thursday, August 21. The Cobras go into the test with a record of 9-4. Industrial won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Calhoun (Port Lavaca, TX)

The Rangers now own a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elgin for a non-league test on Thursday, August 21. Rudder will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Northeast Early College (Austin, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-7.
