August 21, 2025: Teague, TX 75860 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Teague Lions (Teague, TX) and the visiting Scurry-Rosser Wildcats (Scurry, TX), observed Teague's volleyball team hold off Scurry-Rosser by a count of 2-1.
With the win, Teague improves its record to 5-3 on the season. The Lions host Mildred (Corsicana, TX) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 10-3. Mildred lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against North Hopkins (Sulphur Springs, TX)
The Wildcats now own a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Neches for a non-league test on Thursday, August 21. Scurry-Rosser will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Cross Roads (Malakoff, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 5-6.
