August 22, 2023: San Elizario, TX 79849 The San Elizario Eagles volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Burges Mustangs to 1 in the Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles now have a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Hancock for a non-league game on Thursday, August 24.
The Mustangs (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Ysleta (El Paso, TX). The Indians enter the non-league game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Ysleta nipped Irvin (El Paso, TX), 2-0, in a non-league game.
