The Monterey Trail Mustangs prevailed the visiting Elk Grove Thundering Herd volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Mustangs now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sheldon for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 23. Monterey Trail will confront a Huskies team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Liberty Ranch (Galt, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 0-1.
