August 22, 2023: Cornelius, NC 28031 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC) and the visiting Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC), saw Hough's volleyball squad nip Palisades by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Hough upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Huskies travel to North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 29. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 3-1.
The Pumas now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Independence for a non-league bout on Wednesday, August 23. Palisades will play a Patriots squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 2-1.
