August 22, 2023: Statesville, NC 28677 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the North Iredell Raiders (Olin, NC) and the host South Iredell Vikings (Statesville, NC), saw North Iredell's volleyball squad beat South Iredell by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, North Iredell upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Raiders travel to Hickory (Hickory, NC) to play the Red Tornadoes in a non-league bout on Monday, August 28. The Red Tornadoes go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Hickory lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Watauga (Boone, NC)
The Vikings now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host West Cabarrus for a bout on Tuesday, August 29. South Iredell will play a Wolverines squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-3.
