Kentucky High School Soccer - Conner nudges Campbell County
August 22, 2023: Alexandria, KY 41001 Conner Cougars (Hebron, KY) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Campbell County Camels (Alexandria, KY), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cougars face the St. Henry Crusaders (Erlanger, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 24. Conner will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Crusaders enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Boone County (Florence, KY).
The Camels now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Highlands for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 24. Campbell County will face a Bluebirds team coming off a 0-0 non-league Bryan Station (Lexington, KY). The Bluebirds record now stands at 4-1.
