Oklahoma High School Softball - Pawnee holds off Oilton
August 22, 2023: Oilton, OK 74052 Pawnee Black Bears (Pawnee, OK) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Oilton Panthers (Oilton, OK), 7-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Black Bears now sport a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they host Rush Springs for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 24. Pawnee will face a Redskins squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Elmore City-Pernell (Elmore City, OK). The Redskins record now stands at 8-7.
With the loss, Oilton falls to 7-10 on the campaign. The Panthers host Frontier (Red Rock, OK) to face the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Friday, August 25. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 12-4. Frontier lost 5-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Woodland (Fairfax, OK)
