In Tuesday's non-league contest, the North Shore Mustangs (Houston, TX) volleyball squad nudged the visiting Alief Hastings Bears (Houston, TX), by a margin of 3-2.

Next up, the Mustangs face the Port Neches-Groves Indians (Port Neches, TX) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, August 24. North Shore will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record.
