August 22, 2023: Aubrey, TX 76227 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Aubrey Chaparrals (Aubrey, TX) and the visiting Farmersville Farmers (Farmersville, TX), saw Aubrey's volleyball squad beat Farmersville by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Aubrey upgrades its record to 16-3 on the year. The Chaparrals host Poteet (Mesquite, TX) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Friday, August 25. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Poteet won 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Rowlett (Rowlett, TX)
The Farmers now own a 17-1 record. They play next when they travel to Sulphur Springs for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 24. Farmersville will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Ford (Quinlan, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-7.
