August 22, 2023: Newton, IA 50208 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Newton Cardinals (Newton, IA) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Hoover Huskies (Des Moines, IA), by a margin of 2-0.
Next up, the Cardinals battle the Twin Cedars Sabers (Bussey, IA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, August 24. Newton will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record. The Sabers go into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to East Union (Afton, IA).
