August 22, 2024: Jacksonville, NC 28540 The Jacksonville Cardinals football squad scored 24 points and limited the host Southwest Onslow Stallions to 8 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cardinals now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host White Oak for a non-league test on Thursday, August 29. Jacksonville will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 46-0 non-league win over East Carteret (Beaufort, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Southwest Onslow drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Stallions host Richlands (Richlands, NC) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league test on Thursday, August 29. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 1-0. Richlands won 20-6 in their recent non-league test against South Brunswick (Southport, NC)
