The Rams now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kell for a non-league test on Thursday, August 29. Newton will clash with a Longhorns squad coming off a 26-0 non-league win over Kennesaw Mountain (Kennesaw, GA). The Longhorns record now stands at 1-0.
